News - Bitcoin breaks through its all-time high almost everywhere in the world
By
With a 24-hour high of USD 63,636, Bitcoin (BTC) came amazingly close to its all-time high of USD 69,044 on the night of Thursday, Feb. 29.
However, the cryptocurrency has already crossed this mark in many national currencies around the world. This is the case, for example, with the Australian dollar, Canadian dollar, British pound, Russian ruble and Chinese yuan. In Turkey, Sweden and Norway, Bitcoin broke a few days ago already its all-time high.
Just over a week ago, Bitcoin had already reached its all-time high in the East Asian island state thanks to particularly high inflation rates measured in Japanese yen. It remains to be seen when the euro and U.S. dollar will follow suit. In the Eurozone, Bitcoin set its all-time high on November 10, 2021 at EUR 59,716.86, the 24-hour high was EUR 58,691.17 - so there wasn't much missing.
