After eleven years of dormant sleep, a Bitcoin Wallet revived. So reports the OnChain analytics platform Lookonchain on the short messaging platform X.
The digital wallet transferred 250 BTC to five different wallets yesterday, Aug. 7. The wallet was last active in 2013.
The Bitcoins originally came from mining activities from 2010. Due to the strong performance of the Bitcoin exchange rate over the past 11 years, the volume of the transaction has grown to $14 million.
Both the identity of the sender and the rationale for the transaction are unknown.
