News - Bitcoin nears $64,000 mark
Bitcoin has been doing well in recent hours. But it is mainly memecoins that are currently enjoying volatile sentiment in the crypto market.
In the past 24 hours Bitcoin is up about 2.7 percent, which has largely made up for the price decline (due to further escalation in the Middle East). At the time of writing, the number one cryptocurrency stands at around $63,600/€57,953.
Memes are currently dominating the crypto market.

Every portfolio should at least hold a few memecoins IMO. pic.twitter.com/mAoAqmWvBP
Yet BTC's performance is outpaced by the hyped memecoins. WIF and POPCAT rose about 20 percent over the same period. PEPE posted a 14 percent gain, while DOGE rose only about five percent. Ethereum stood at +2.8 percent in the same period, and Solana at +4 percent.
