Bullish predictions: will Bitcoin rise to $700,000?

Bitcoin is working on a comeback. And as the price rises, so do the bullish predictions. Two experts put the price particularly high.

Bitcoin is making a comeback. Rising more than 160 percent in a year, Bitcoin breaks through the US$40,000 mark this week. And bullish predictions follow.

Bitcoin is going to outperform gold

Adam Back sees Bitcoin rising to US$700,000 this cycle. He is CEO of Blockstream and an early developer of Bitcoin. Bitcoin could reach this value within one to two years, outperforming gold. Citing the Bitcoin halving in April 2024, which will reduce the amount of Bitcoin in circulation, which has often been the starting signal for a bull run in the past.

Max Keiser also sees Bitcoin climbing this bull run to US$500,000. He revealed this to Bloomberg in an interview. Other predictions for 2024 range from US$45,000 to US$250,000.
