The founder of the blockchain network Cardano (ADA), Charles Hoskinson, maintains that his cryptocurrency will knock Bitcoin off the throne.
In a interview with the well-known American crypto-YouTube channel "Altcoin Daily," Charles Hoskinson again claims that his project is Cardano Bitcoin will supplant it as the leading cryptocurrency in the future.
According to Hoskinson, there is "no way to beat Cardano" and the network has "accomplished what Satoshi started." He spoke of a technical superiority of his project, which should lead to global acceptance.
The former co-founder of Ethereum wants to integrate Cardano into various economic and political systems. In doing so, he speaks of a coordinated effort on all continents, citing Argentina and Ghana as examples.
Hoskinson added that the Cardano ecosystem has more than 300 decentralized applications that are not only active, but thriving. The 36-year-old compares Bitcoin to outdated applications such as Yahoo and MySpace, which were defeated by more innovative competitors in the market.
In addition to the bold forecast, the interview also discussed the upcoming release of Midnight, a new update for Cardano. This development would enable the inclusion of hundreds of partnerchains.
Cardano's share price has struggled in recent months. ADA could not keep up with the sharp increases in the Bitcoin price since the beginning of the year.
