Cardano boss Charles Hoskinson has once again shown himself combative on X. One of the triggers was a newly published biography about FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, who is currently on trial for fraud.

According to Cardano's founder, Cardano enjoys Sam Bankman-Fried "a free pass" in the media. This shows "how deeply corrupt things have become, especially if you have the right friends." Hoskinson did not substantiate this statement.
In another tweet he also addressed criticism from an X-user that development at Cardano was lagging behind expectations.
"The engineers in the field have a different scope and time horizon. They focus on the immediate use case and problems. You need both perspectives for an ecosystem to thrive," Hoskinson said.
De 35-year-old also lashed out to his old hobbyhorse, Ethereum. According to Hoskinson, Ethereum copies Cardano's Ouroboros consensus mechanism to get a grip on the problem of centralization.
