News - Crypto exchange Kraken launches NFT marketplace with more than 250 collections
Kraken company advertises user and beginner friendliness and announces official launch of an NFT platform.
Kraken announced on June 8 in a press release to the fact that the project is no longer in a beta phase. After all, it NFT-platform of the U.S. crypto exchange Kraken is now online. So far, 250 NFT collections are available on the platform.
Of particular note here is that Kraken does not charge transaction fees (gas fees) when buying or selling digital collectibles within the platform. However, gas fees are charged for the "transfer of NFTs and other cryptoassets to and from the Kraken platform."
During the beta phase, the platform supported Ethereum and Solana marketplace NFT collectibles. With the official launch, the platform expands its offerings to include Polygon digital collectibles. The platform accepts fiat and cryptocurrencies. Users do not need to own tokens to buy NFTs.
