Cryptopay cards to be blocked

Cryptopay debit cards may soon stop working. The provider's license has been revoked.

The debit card provider for Cryptopay, UAB PayrNet, has lost its license as an e-money institution, so according to an email to its customers. It is not yet clear when the cards will be blocked.

The balances in the app's accounts are safe, the company said. Still, users should withdraw their balances quickly.

Amounts transferred to the debit card will be affected. Otherwise, "this problem will not affect your Cryptopay account, which will continue to run as usual."

According to Cryptopay, users will also get the money back directly from UAB PayrNet.
