Ferrari now accepts crypto payments in Europe

From the end of the month, payment with cryptocurrencies will be possible in countries where they are legal anyway. "Following the positive reception of this alternative payment system in the United States, our entry into the European market is a logical step to support dealers in meeting the evolving needs of our customers," the company stated.

Which cryptocurrencies will be accepted is not yet known. In the US, they worked with Bitpay, a popular payment service provider. Ralph Lauren, the Red Cross, Adidas, AirBnB, Burger King, IKEA: the list of companies accepting crypto payments in the US is growing.

An overview for Europe is sadly lacking, but commercial adoption is progressing especially in Switzerland.
