News - Floki and TokenFi form partnership with two cricket teams
By
Floki and TokenFi both recently announced new partnerships with two prestigious cricket teams, the Manipal Tigers and the Bhilwara Kings.
In a Nov. 20 press release, Floki and TokenFi, the two sister tokens, announced a new partnership with the two cricket teams. As part of the partnership, Floki will sponsor both the back of the jersey and a prominent spot on the upper arm of the Manipal Tigers, while TokenFi, Floki's tokenization platform, will perform the same role for the Bhilwara Kings.
The partnership also gives Floki and TokenFi a number of other benefits, including promotions on social media, exclusive merchandise opportunities and coverage of the upcoming Legends League Cricket event taking place in India from Nov. 18 to Dec. 9.
The two tokens will also be seen on opposing teams when the Bhilwara Kings take on the Manipal Tigers on Nov. 24 in what will reportedly be the first "clash of the tokens" like event of its kind.
The strategic partnership comes shortly after an announcement on the Bitget website in which the exchange indicated it was delisting TokenFi due to concerns about manipulation. Floki responded to these allegations on X, stating that the delisting occurred because the requirement for CEXs to be listed within seven days of launch was not met.
Despite the allegations, Floki and TokenFi continue to make strides in awareness resulting in positive price increases.
