Mt.Gox went bankrupt in 2014 after a major hack in which 850,000 Bitcoin were stolen. The bankruptcy process took a long time, but payouts to creditors began a few weeks ago. The total amount involved is 142,000 Bitcoin. According to CryptoQuant, about 68 percent of the money has now been paid out, with about 46,000 Bitcoin left to go.
Because Bitcoin's value has skyrocketed since the stock market crash, many market experts expected big sales to take place. However, recent research by Glassnode shows that profit-taking has not taken place so far.
