Robert Kiyosaki: "The greatest stock crash of all time is here"

Robert Kiyosaki: "De grootste aandelencrash aller tijden is hier"

According to Robert Kiyosaki, the author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad, a financial meltdown is about to happen. "The biggest stock crash of all time is here", wrote he on X.

His solution? Away from stocks, ETFs and other traditional investments. Instead, he recommends investing in tangible assets, particularly gold, silver and Bitcoin - which he calls "digital gold."

Kiyosaki claims that the crash, which he has been predicting since 2014, is actually happening now. In particular, the wealth of millions of baby boomers (born between 1950 and 1964) would be at risk.

A self-proclaimed crash expert

Robert Kiyosaki is known as one of the so-called "crash prophets." His revenue model? Predicting the downfall of the financial system - and touting supposed solutions. About every three months, he makes similar statements on social media.

His book Rich Dad, Poor Dad became a worldwide phenomenon since its publication in 1997 and made him famous. The book, designed to teach people financial basics, has been sold more than 32 million times and translated into dozens of languages.

Yet it is now known that many autobiographical elements in the book were fabricated. For example, Kiyosaki claimed to have been a millionaire since 1985, when in reality he was homeless at the time.

Nevertheless, his popularity remains undiminished. His fans include well-known names such as actor Will Smith and current US President Donald Trump.

Bitcoin and the market

Currently, the Bitcoin price hovers around $80,000, with a total market capitalization of $1.6 trillion. In the past, Bitcoin showed a strong correlation with stocks, especially in the technology sector.
