The SEC is taking more time to approve a Bitcoin Spot ETF. A number of ETF applicants must wait another 45 days for a decision. Among them is BlackRock.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is again postponing decisions on some Bitcoin Spot ETFs.

The following ETF applicants must now wait another 45 days: BlackRock, Fidelity, WisdomTree, Invesco & Galaxy, VanEck, Bitwise and Valkyrie.
The next deadline for decisions on Bitcoin ETFs is Oct. 17.
Recently, the cryptocurrency authority had to deal with two setbacks in court. First, a court ruled that Ripple (XRP) is not a security.
Second, an appeals court ruled that the SEC's Application by Grayscale to convert the GBTC Bitcoin Trust into an ETF should not have been dismissed outright.
