Seeker: This is the new Solana smartphone

During Token 2049, Solana presented his new smartphone. Before sales start, the phone is already a hit!

The Saga is getting a successor: Solana is launching a new smartphone, as the team announced yesterday, Wednesday, at Token 2049 in Singapore. Sales of the "Seeker" will start in 2025 and will cost $450. According to data, 140,000 units have already been pre-ordered in 57 countries.
"We founded Solana Mobile with the mission to make crypto mobile", says Solana co-founder and Solana Labs CEO Anatoly Yakovenko. "To achieve this, we had to make the Seeker more affordable and integrate the hardware and software even deeper with Web3."

The smartphone will be optimized for the Web3 space. The so-called Seed Vault Wallet is therefore native integrated into the device and should make account management as easy as possible. The SOL-dAppstore will also be enhanced. There you will find DeFi, gaming, DePin, NFT and AI applications. With the so-called Seeker Genesis Token, Solana is also launching its own NFT for the smartphone, which, among other things, can be used to earn rewards.
Solana also reports improved hardware on the Seeker: less weight, a brighter screen, a better camera and longer battery life.

As a result of the announcement, Solana (SOL) is the best-performing cryptocurrency of the top 10 coins, up 8.1 percent in 24 hours. Many users are likely to pair their pre-order with prediction of profits, as the Saga became a collector's item. People with the Saga received an airdrop of the Memecoin Bonk (at its peak: $730) and later followed up with an exclusive Saga Monke-NFT (peak: 14 Solana, about US$1,465).
