Telegram bot exploit: $640,000 stolen

Unibot users beware: Hackers are currently targeting the Telegram bot. The price of UNIBOT is plummeting by double digits.

On the morning of today, Oct. 31, blockchain security firm Scopescan warned of an ongoing hack at Telegram bot Unibot.

"A token approval exploit occurred on our new router. We have paused our router to contain the problem," confirmed Unibot the attack.

So far, the hackers have stolen about US$640,000 in various cryptocurrencies, the company said.

Scopescan advises users to revoke authorizations for the affected contract (0x126c9FbaB3A2FCA24eDfd17322E71a5e36E91865) and transfer funds to a new wallet.

As a result of the attack, the price of UNIBOT dropped by about 28 percent. At the time of writing, the token is trading at $44.73.
