News - That's how much Bitcoin ETF sponsors hold
Publishers of Bitcoin ETFs are taking an increasing share of coins off the market. BlackRock alone holds 105,280 BTC at the time of writing. This, in turn, has created constant buying pressure on the BTC market since the launch of the financial products about a month ago.
If we take all the Bitcoin Spot ETF's together, then at the time of writing the issuers hold 728,000 BTC worth USD 37 billion. This means that BlackRock, Fidelity, Grayscale, etc. own about 3.7 percent of Bitcoin in circulation.
Meanwhile, ETF issuers are making no attempt to curb their buying habits. On the contrary. On Feb. 13, as much as 12,800 BTC was withdrawn from the market by ETF issuers. This corresponds to more than 10 times the amount of Bitcoin mined daily. On average, 900 BTC comes in every day.

However, Grayscale still has by far the largest amount. The Whale holds a total of 461,983 BTC in digital assets - making Grayscale the largest BTC hodler in the world.
While BlackRock, Fidelity and others are adding more and more holdings to their digital gold supply, liquidity flows away from the ETF Whale Grayscale.
