VanEck submits amended application for Bitcoin Spot ETF

Asset manager VanEck has filed amendments to its spot Bitcoin ETF with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This is according to documents of the authority.

VanEck follows companies such as Bitwise, ARK Invest and BlackRock, who had already submitted amendments in September and October.

Last month, the SEC some of the submissions out. However, Ark Invest's Cathie Wood said the authority was now constructively reviewing the applications. Approval could therefore take place this year. With the approval, a new influx into the crypto sector is expected.
