The Republican American Congressman Warren Davidson is calling for current SEC Chairman Gary Gensler to be fired in 2024. To that end In June 2023, Davidson introduced the SEC Stabilization Act, a Law that would reshape the structure of the SEC. For example, the Republican wants to introduce a sixth commissioner so that there is a partisan balance with the Democrats.
In addition, the Trump supporter says he wants to abolish the " accredited investor" rule, relax investment opportunities and promote an inclusive financial landscape. Yesterday, Dec. 27, the Republican spoke out on X. 2024 is a "great time to fire Gary Gensler and hold the SEC accountable for its corruption."
