Floki has struck deals with two teams from the English Premier League to promote their own token and the game Valhalla. The teams in question are Nottingham Forest and AFC Sunderland. Advertising for the memecoin will be seen on Sunderland's shirts and on screens in Nottingham's stadium. The contract is initially for one year.

Floki Inu wants to get rid of its meme status with these marketing campaigns and has recently developed the Metaverse game Valhalla, the tokenization platform TokenFi and the staking and banking features.
Following news of the deals with Premier League teams, the Floki price immediately rose ten percent. At the time of writing, the price is at $0.0001234. According to Sabre, Floki's marketing director, the deals came about through direct contact with the teams, with no price war involved.
Collaborations between crypto projects and sporting events or teams are nothing new. At the time, the exchange Crypto.com bought the naming rights to the Staples Center in Los Angeles for $700 million. The now-bankrupt FTX exchange was also known for numerous collaborations in the sports world.
